FRS Syltfähre connects List to the island of Sylt with the Danish neighboring island of Rømø. The connection via the Lister Tief has existed since 1963 and was taken over by the Flensburger Förde Reederei in 1979. Today the route is operated by the subsidiary FRS Syltfähre. On the nine nautical mile ferry route, “SYLT EXPRESS” and “RÖMÖEXPRESS” are in service. The ferry connection from List to Sylt to Havneby to Rømø takes about 40 minutes.
