Reederei Baltrum-Linie GmbH – information about the company and ferries

Reederei Baltrum-Linie GmbH was founded in 1928. The history of the Baltrum Line is closely linked to the history of the island and therefore also closely linked to island tourism.

Today, as in the past, it is about ensuring a regular shipping connection between Baltrum Island and the mainland. The Baltrum-Nessmersiel line is served by passenger ships one to three times a day, depending on the time of year. The ships sail according to a fixed timetable, but at a different time every day because Baltrum is dependent on the tide.

Since 2020, Baltrum-Linie has been sailing with the Dollard between Emden, Ditzum and Delfzijl in the service of the Internationalen Dollard Route e.V.
