01-11-2010:A fire raged in the hold of the “LARENSEDIEP” in the port of Raahe (Finland). The ship was loaded with wood, which caused a fire in the hold, the fire brigade was able to prevent the flames spread over the hundred meter long ship. After extinguishing, part of the load is wood unloaded at the port. There is no major damage and presumably the ship can continue its journey after the inspection.
