01-07-2008: | En route with steel coils from Turkey to Bayard in Dinteloord, during one of the tests the ship had to carry out to acquire her Rhine certificate, ran aground on a sandbank at the Volkerak locks. |
09-01-2015: | Suffered an engine failure in the Gulf of Finland south of Kalbådagrund off Porvoo and went adrift. The ship which had sailed with a cargo of cement from Liepaja the previous day managed to drop anchor southeast of Kalbåda ground, and the MRCC in Helsinki was alerted. The Coastguard was alerted and helicopters and the Coastguard vessel “TURVA” were prepared to take off. In the area winds of 12-14 meters per second were blowing with wave heights of three meters. Around 8 p.m. the Estonian tug “PALLAS” started to tow the ship to Tallinn with the “TURVA” being ready to assist. |
27-11-2020: | En route from Lilla Edet to Saint Brieuc, with 1.600 tonnes of sawn timber as cargo, suffered an engine failure due to a faulty fuel line. As it needed replacing, the sihp anchored 40 miles from Harwich in position 51 47 44 N, 002 21 33 E at 10 p.m. The vessel was not impeding traffic in its anchor position. |
