31-07-2017: | Danish police got a report of a possible pollution originating from the “SNOWLARK” in the Vejle Fjord. The ship has unlaoded a cargo of lime in Vejle. The captain stated that the crew had not cleaned the cargo spaces, but that there had been rain showers in the area that probably had washed a small ampount of lime from the deck into the sea. A Danish tug, which passed the area shortly after, could not see any pollution around the ship. |
08-11-2018: | En route from Rotterdam to Höganäs Bjuf with bauxite, ran aground in the Øresund at midnight off the entrance to Landskrona in pos. 55° 52.07′ N 012° 48.30′ E. The vessel has tried to refloat with own power, but later gave up the attempt. |
14-11-2018: | Released by the Swedish Transport Agency after an inspection. An engine failure was found to have caused the grounding which was meanwhile fixed. The ship left the port of Landskrona at 8.10 p.m. and dropped anchor in pos. 55° 54.00′ N 12° 46.86′ E for order. |
01-08-2023: | En route from Tuzla to Bartin suffered an engine failure in the western part off Sile in pos. 41 15 00 N, 029 27 00 E, ship was granted permission for the transit of the Istanbul, escorted by a Coastal Safety tug. |
05-08-2023: | Arrived at Tuzla anchorage and entered the shipyard after completing formalities the same evening. A detailed damage survey was conducted by a class surveyor together with the Owner’s Superintendent. Permanent repairs were commenced by the shipyard teams based on the recommendations of the class surveyor. |
