26-06-2011: En route from IJmuiden to Halmstad 9 miles east of Skagen at about 07:40 collided with the Danish cutter “LILLY” (built 1966, 35.3 GRT, MMSI 220126000), the pilot boat of Skagen was during the
collision 0.5 miles away and arrived on scene at 07:43 and took the 2 fishermen on board, the cutter sank due to the damage sustained at 08:21, “FRANK-W” was able to continue the journey to Halmstad.
27-07-2011: Run aground at Flintrännan between Saltholm and Malmö while traveling from Gunness to Hull.
28-07-2011: An attempt by the tug “BJÖRN” to refloat the ship failed.
01-08-2011: Refloated after part of the cargo was transshipped.
11-11-2011: En route from Mariager to Sweden, loaded with 3,600 tons of salt, while droping-off the pilot, swept away by the tide and run aground in Mariager Fjord.
12-11-2011: Refloated with tug assistance.
06-04-2014: The “YARA EMBLA” was in collision with “FRANK W” following a rudder failure of the latter in the Kiel Canal at kilometer 18 short time after having left the locks in Brunsbüttel eastbound. The LPG-tanker which was underway from Hamburg to Fredericia suffered damage at the foreship. It was allowed to proceed and berthed at the Bominflot Pier in Kiel for further surveys. The “FRANKW” which was enroute from Kunda to La Rochelle/Pallice was allowed to continue with slow speed and was ordered to have a tug escort from Kudensee for the further transit to Brunsbüttel in order to ensure safety in case of another rudder failure. The ship was moored in Brunsbüttel/Ostermoor short past midnight.
10-10-2017: En route from Lomonosov to Warrenpoint, ran aground at Rathlin Island.
