17-02-2007: | Collided in the North Sea Canal with the heavily loaded Maltese Panamax tanker “ELBRUS”. The ships had collided from the sea and the “GEMINUS” attempted to run aground on the heavily loaded tanker at Zijkanaal A, leading to a collision. Both ships were damaged, but were able to continue their journey to Duisburg and the Australiëhaven in Amsterdam. |

13-07-2014: | Collided with a tanker on the Rhine near Bislich. No one was injured. According to the Wasserschutzpolizei, the drifting coaster had to deal with a rudder failure around four o’clock in the night. As a result it collided with the tanker. The ‘AMADEUS’ suffered a leak, causing 2,700 liters of gas oil to flow into the Rhine. This caused such a large oil slick on the water that the German authorities warned the city of Utrecht to stop extracting water from the Rhine for drinking water. Both ships were eventually able to continue their journey on their own engines. |
12-10-2017: | Arrived in the Ketelhaven in Dordrecht. |

28-09-2019: | En route to Lyon from Naples, ollided with 2 bridges in Rhône river near Lyon. Collided first with rail bridge and after first collision, moved further and collided with auto bridge. Ship’s bow and superstructure, including bridge, were heavily damaged. Towed to Lyon for repairs. |
