| 05-04-2014: | En route from Istanbul to Lorient. collided 19 miles NW of Lesbos off the northwestern tip of the island with “ANGEL ALIA”. The unloaded “ANGEL ALIA” hit the “AMELAND” at portside. Both vessels suffered hull breaches and dents above the waterline at starboard side, but remained capable of sailing. The Greek Coastguard permitted both vessels to resume their voyages. |
