11-01-2019:The “LUCKY JOY” was subjected to a detention order for 15 daysin Savona. The ship had sailed from the port of Alexandria and arrived in Savona on Dec 26, 2018, where a Port State Control was carried out by the Port Authority of Savona which found serious violations of the safety of the navigation as well as serious dangers for the marine environment. In addition to the detention order, the captain was fined with more than 3000 Euros for not having fulfilled the registration obligations of the polluting liquids present on board. The ship was released and left the port again on Jan 9, 2019, bound to Olbia.
