01-06-2016:Scheduled for trials following an engine failure. During an overhaul of the main engine at Petersen & Sørensen Motorværksted in Svendborg, a worn crank bearing was discovered, its wear layer completely gone. Small metal flakes had spread throughout the engine’s lubrication system, requiring two weeks of meticulous cleaning of all affected components. Additionally, the classification society Bureau Veritas rejected the bulkhead in the foreship, leading to more than a week of repairs in the floating dock at Petersen & Sørensen in Frederiksøen.
